Hey,
open up css/custom.css and add following code:

body{
background: #fff url(../images/skin-minimal/my-bg.jpg) no-repeat top left;
}

Obviously you need to change the image source.

I love the theme Coalition, I have one simple question: What would the code be to drop in a background image (I looked at the above post and it wasn't clear) I'm not using "boxed" I'm using minimal skin - stretched layout, I have a jpg of a background image and can't figure out how to greplace the white background with my image in the background

Hey,
you can achieve this by using the Boxed Layout. In your Theme Options under Layout & Styling you'll see "Do you want to use a stretched layout or a boxed?". After this you can select your background color.
To change the background color of your content you can open up your css folder and edit your dark-skin.css or minimal-skin.css depending on which style you're using and find:

.boxed #wrap_all {
     background: none repeat scroll 0% 0% #222222;
}

here you can change the hex color code to any color you'd like.

Hi and first of all thanks for your nice Coalition theme!

I'd like to set two different colors for background and menu/content...as I have seen for example in this site http://www.mannequinav.com/ (where in truth they use a image as background... I just need a color)

I think I have to change some css style but I don't know where and how exactly!

Thanks

Stefano
