I'll ask Kriesi to take a look at the Themeforest file again. I know he mentioned in that thread he has updated the file but perhaps there was an issue on their servers where the proper file was never replaced correctly.

Regards,

Hi Dude! Thanks, now it works ... But don't get me wrong, one point... Over one year you know that there are problems with IE 9, and you are still selling the old "code", without any comments or recommendations about the problems. That's really not the "nice way"...

Hey!

This code: http://pastie.org/1980756 still works fine with IE9/10. Open up newscast/js/custom.js and delete the entire content. Then insert the code from pastie.org and save the file.

Best regards,
Peter

So, I found this topic with the same problems... http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/accordion-display-issue-in-ie9#post-19984

Does this solve my problem? Any other suggestions, this topic is older than one year...

Hi Devin, we tried this, but nothing changed. Is there a possibility to turn of the picture-loading-effect in the slider as well?

Hi sempre-audio,

Try changing the header of your files to just:

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7" />
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />

And remove the content-type after the tradeDoubler comments so that it isn't doubled. If nothing else put the emulateIE7 back in there.

Regards,

...one point we thought about: is it possible to "split" the effects for the slider and the rest of the pictures on the page?

Hi, we are using Newscast HTML Theme for our website http://www.sempre-audio.at now. Everything works fine in Firefox, Safari and Chrome, but with IE there are most of the times no pictures. They appear shortly, then just the rotating circle stays... Any suggestion to solve this problem?

The second point: We use the right area for more news and blog posts, is there a way to define how many of them appear? For now, sometimes the last ones just get cut in the middle of the text.

Best regards, Michael Holzinger
