I'm not sure where you added this code - very likely in footer.php or your plugin uses the wp_footer hook: http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/wp_footer

Sometimes you can download/edit the files via cpanel/ftp software only.

Thanks so much Dude. Sorry for the stupid follow-up question, where do I go to update this code. I'm looking at the HTML for my pages within Wordpress and this code isn't there. Thanks Dude

I thin the ouput is caused by your addthis plugin. At the very bottom you'll see following code:

I deactivated all of my plugins and even removed my site from the godaddy analytics feature Trafficfacts but am still seeing the light gray line floating in the footer area (see http://thesmarterscienceofslim.com/the-book/ and look in the left side of the footer). Any help getting rid of this would be greatly appreciated.

Hey,
it seems the lines are generated by something called Trafficfacts. You can try disabling/removing whatever you added associated with traffic analysing.

Hey,
I think it's an output of one of your plugins. Try to deactivate them one by one and see which one causes it.
