Hi paulbooth1967,

Make sure to follow the steps provided exactly as the theme makes use of specific menu names to create the two menus:

create 2 menus and call the first one "First" and the other menu "Second"
Then, whatever items you add to the first menu, shows up on the first menu bar on the site, and the items on the menu called Second, show in the second menu bar.

Regards,

Devin

I have the same problem. When I do to Appearance>menu, it says this theme support 1 menu. This was an existing site that had an earlier version of Newscast. Ive simply purchased a new one, and added it, if that helps? Thank you

Hey,
the option panel includes following option pages:

Newscast Options
Mainpage Options
Contact & Submit Member News
Sidebar & Footer

If you're using a version which shows options like "Menu Manager Pages & Categories" upgrade your theme to Newscast 2.0.x (otherwise you'll experience errors with WP3.0+).

To create a custom menu navigate to Appearance --> Menu

Once your there, simply create 2 menus and call the first one "First" and the other menu "Second"
Then, whatever items you add to the first menu, shows up on the first menu bar on the site, and the items on the menu called Second, show in the second menu bar. A short tutorial can be found here: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/i-can%E2%80%99t-create-a-custom-menu-the-menu-behaves-weird

In your theme documentation, in section B 1) Setting up the general Options the image shows the following options within the menu:

Newscast Options
Mainpage Options
Contact & Submit Member News
Sidebar & Footer
Menu Manager Pages
Menu Manager Categories

Within my Newscast Options panel, I only show the following:

Newscast Options
Mainpage Options
Contact & Submit Member News
Sidebar & Footer

Is this correct? Have you removed the Menu Manager Pages & Categories links due to upgrades in WordPress?

Please advise.
