Dude,

Thank you for the clarificaton on the margin, I believe I mentioned several times I am not a programmer!!!

I do appreciate you supporting this theme and the people who spent money on it. But you might want to keep in mind not everyone understands the code or the way the theme is created the same way you do. This might help reduce the amount of posts and times you have to help everyone.

I was able to get the text centered and things look great, I appreciate all of your help.

Hi Dude,

Still doesn't work, even with that change. See my image below.

What happens now is that the box moves downward to expose the brown color above, but the end result is that the text still does not look centered.

Other comments are on the image. Thanks.

As I said above you can adjust your text with margin and/or padding values.

I tried it out my self and setting the margin-top value to 30px gave me a good result.

?>

My text

<?php

I have the same question, how I can center the text in the space? Does it have to do with "margin: -10px 0 0 10px;float:right;" ?

You can play with the margin value or add a padding to it - have a look at this page for more syntax information: http://www.w3schools.com/CSS/css_margin.asp

Dude,

Thanks for that. Text looks good. One more small thing.

The text is riding high in the Feature Stripe, somewhat into the shaded area.

Is there a way to lower it down a little? I tried the padding in the code you sent but it is vertical padding, not horizontal.

Thanks for the help.

You can try following code:

?>

My text

<?php

I'm not sure what you mean with "the thumbnails are still in there"? - They should be located on the left of your text. You can upload your images via http://imageshack.us/ - just choose the html forum option after upload.

Thanks. That worked to get the text in there. However, it's not formatted.

1. If this forum allowed for attachments I would upload an image to show it, but essentially it looks like normal text. I'm looking to make it as large as the "Why Avisio?" What can I add to make that happen?

2. Those three thumbnail images are still in there. How can I remove them, without removing them from the slider itself?

Thanks!

This thread shows you how to decrease the number of footer widgets: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/footer-not-4-colums-but-3-or-2
The question was answered for Habitat there but should be the same for Avisio.

You can increase the footer column width by modying the width of #top .footer .column4 - you'll find it in style.css.

#top .footer .column4{
width:424px;
font-size: 11px;
line-height: 19px;
}

You can also change the column width of the other columns by using #top .footer .column1, #top .footer .column2 and #top .footer .column3

i just have the same problem. How can i increase the widgets in the footer area?

Next questions. Is it possible to have only 3 footer columns instead of 4?

Oh one more thing, how do I increase the size of the widget area at the bottom? The clients email address is a little long and it is being cut off, I need to expand the widget area just a little bit.

Thanks!

Hello,

I was hoping you could help me with removing the thumbnail images from under the banner on the home page. I know those thumbnails are the images being used in the banner, is it possible to remove those and place text there? Here is the website I am working on http://www.beaumondehome.com/wpsite/

Thank you!
