&#60;p&#62;You can use the !important, to avoid your css code from being overriden. This is an example on how to use the !important:&#60;br /&#62;
&#60;pre&#62;&#60;code&#62;.selector {
   font-size: 12px !important;
}&#60;/code&#62;&#60;/pre&#62;
&#60;p&#62;This will prevent other styles from overriding the .selector's font-size from changing. Hope this will help you. :)&#60;/p&#62;

&#60;p&#62;I'm doing some heavy customisation of Abundance (a bit of a total conversion really). I need to override the CSS for the main menu, but when I do this from custom.css the changes aren't getting applied. It seems something is applying styles at a higher level than custom.css.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'm assuming there's some JavaScript somewhere that's adding the Avia divs at runtime and applying the styles directly on the elements or inline on the page. How do I get round this? I don't mind losing the option to upgrade the theme if I have to edit a JS file somewhere.&#60;/p&#62;
