Hi Bryce,

Try going back to just the theme and WooCommerce so that we can eliminate any other plugins that might be causing conflicts.

Regards,

Nick,
So I think that I may have figured out the issue with authorize.net. I contacted them and they said it was probably a problem with the direct response to the website. I noticed and the Field Encapsulation Character was set to a bar | though I think that normally it is nothing. But now I have a bigger problem. I haven't messed with anything on the site and now if you add something to the cart and go into the cart or try to check something out nothing is there. I have tried it in 3 different browsers and I can't figure it out. Thanks.
Bryce

Hi,

1) Please check that your server time is set correctly. (your host is the only one who can help with that).
2) Check your server has support for fsockopen. Your host again can help.
Thanks,

Devin,
We got paypal working again by disabling the W3 cache plugin we were using. Customers are still getting an error when using authorize.net.

When they make an order with authorize.net it just goes to the top of the page and says, "X Payment error:" but doesn't give any kind of description or anything. Authorize.net charges the account and it sends a receipt to the customer but we have had multiple customers make multiple orders because of the error message. Funny thing is we were having this same problem with a completely different theme using Jigoshop which is why we bought the Flashlight theme with Woocommerce.

I have checked and Woocommerce and Wordpress are up to date. It says on the page that I am using version 1.8 of the Flashlight theme. I noticed that the most recent update is 1.9. After trying to redownload it and upload it multiple times I searched and apparently 1.8 is the latest version the title just wasn't updated. Is that correct? Thanks.
Bryce

Hi zealouslongboards,

If it was working before the update and you need to get it back to working order immediately, I would suggest just downgrading to the previous working version of WooCommerce.

You'll need to do this via FTP and manually remove then re-add in the older version. You can download older versions from: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/woocommerce/developers/

They come as zipped files that you have to unzip and then add to your plugins folder in your wordpress installation.

As for the issue, if you updated Wordpress to 3.5 or just WooCommerce or all of the above you also need to update the theme to the most recent version. You can download the most recent version from Themeforest from your downloads and then update the theme in the same way you first installed it.

If, for instance you were using an older version of both the theme and WooCommerce and then just updated WooCommerce, you may have issues since the theme had not been updated.

It may also be a case where the extensions you are using with woo commerce need to be updated as well so check the Woo Themes site to see if there are updates available for those as well.

Regards,

Paypal was working as soon as I got the theme and then Woocommerce had and update and it is no longer working. If someone tries to make an order it doesn't send them to the paypal page but rather shows this error at the top of the page:
{"result":"success","redirect":"https:\/\/www.paypal.com\/webscr?cmd=_cart&business=sales%40zealouslongboards.com&no_note=1¤cy_code=USD&charset=UTF-8&rm=2&upload=1&return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zealouslongboards.com%2Fcheckout%2Forder-received%2F%3Forder%3D166%26key%3Dorder_50e338452eb9e%26utm_nooverride%3D1&cancel_return=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zealouslongboards.com%2F%3Forder_id%3D166%26order%3Dorder_50e338452eb9e%26cancel_order%3Dtrue%26_n%3D09b11b74f5&page_style=&invoice=WC-166&custom=order_50e338452eb9e¬ify_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.zealouslongboards.com%2F%3FpaypalListener%3Dpaypal_standard_IPN&first_name=Bryce&last_name=Brady&company=&address1=&address2=&city=Provo&state=UT&zip=84123&country=US&email=&night_phone_a=&night_phone_b=&night_phone_c=&day_phone_a=801&day_phone_b=808&day_phone_c=9593&no_shipping=1&tax_cart=0.00&item_name_1=Zealous+Bearings&item_number_1=zealousbearings&quantity_1=1&amount_1=13.99&item_name_2=Shipping+via+USPS+First+Class+Mail&quantity_2=1&amount_2=2.00"}{"result":"failure","messages":"
\n\t\t\t

The authorize.net plugin also hasn't been working. If someone makes an order it just says error at the top of the page with nothing else. Problem is that authorize.net charges their card but the website doesn't think it did and so the customer attempts multiple times with multiple charges on their card.

I really need this fixed as soon as possible. I have missed over 30 orders over the holidays and we were just featured in an article yesterday so we expect more orders to come in this week. Thanks.
