Hi Devin,

sorry for the late reply. I've added your code snippet into the Quick CSS and tried it with Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Opera. Everything fine! But since I have no Windows PC and no MIE I have to wait for a friend to check this.

I'll come back soon to tell you the result.

Regards,
Frank

Hi Frank,

Try adding the following CSS to your Quick CSS (located under the Styling Tab in the theme options) or the custom.css file in the css folder of your theme files:

.firefox img, .firefox a img{
 width: 98%;

.msie9 img, .msie9 a img{
 width: 98%;
}

If the IE change doesn't work, try changing it to MSIE9, I seem to remember it being particular about capitalization but I can't recall in which way it was sensitive to it.

Please let us know if you have any other issues with the fix and if it works. I'll add this to the core files as it looks like chrome is the odd one out though I think it has the cleanest interpretation of max-width.

Regards,

Devin

Hi,

I have a new blog entry with some pictures in it. Picture size is 886px × 549px and 930px x 340px. In Safari on Mac OSX it looks like the pictures match into the grid of the page layout. Link: http://www.planet-upcycling.de/upcycling-heisst-der-design-trend-der-stunde/

But someone send me a screenshot from the view with Internet Explorer. Here, the pictures seems to be squeezed far to the left side, as you can see it here: https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D0879465_60449408_483893

I've checked it also with Firefox. Here it seems, that the bigger pictures stick out at the right side of the type area. Is this a matter of the picture size or is it something different?

Regards
Frank
