I also tried using an FTP to upload the theme. Still nothing. It's still cutting off the post. Any other ideas? IE, when you try and install the theme updates the permissions says 'no you can not write over these files'. I deleted the theme from Wordpress, and from my computer, I haven't been using any FTP client. I downloaded the file from themeforest again and re-installed it onto wordpress... and It's still doing the same thing. I saw the attachments that the latest version is 1.8 but when I look at the info for the theme on wordpress it says version 1.7 ... That second zip file is the one you need to upload.</p> <p>You know, that is a really good question. I always use SSH or sftp to add, update or delete themes or plugins so I never have to worry about missing files or security issues. Then you can also update the theme files since there is a newer version available as well.</p> <p>To update the theme just download it from your Downloads on Themeforest again then upload it the same way you first installed the theme.
