&#60;p&#62;The portfolio images in the demo use the default 'skin' which includes the shadow on the images as part of the code. The style you've chosen is the minimal which as you can see in it's demo (&#60;a href=&#34;http://www.kriesi.at/themes/avisio/portfolio-overview/?skin=2&#34; rel=&#34;nofollow&#34;&#62;http://www.kriesi.at/themes/avisio/portfolio-overview/?skin=2&#60;/a&#62;) doesn't include the background image.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I'd recommend changing over to the default skin and then making your colour changes, this is far easier than trying to copy the style over from the default stylesheet.&#60;/p&#62;
