Hey,
basically it's possible to display normal posts like portfolio posts but you'd need to convert several templates. The portfolio uses template-portfolio.php whereas the posts use template-blog.php. You can try to copy the MAIN CONTAINER code from template-portfolio.php to template-blog.php but I'm not sure if the output needs additional styling, etc. I wouldn't recommend this modification.

2) No - it's not possible to convert custom post types to posts and vice versa - it ends up in a manual process.

3) Yes - the permalink structure (and the url to your entries) will change from http://my-domain.com/entry-name to http://my-domain.com/portfolioslug/entry-name

My site has several blog posts, but I like how the upScale portfolio can easily display posts on pages (columns with excerpt + image).

(1) Is there a way to easily set up the blog to be displayed like portfolio (or is that the whole purpose of portfolio)?

(2) If not, is there a way to convert blog posts into portfolio posts, or will I have to create entirely new portfolio posts (cut/paste content) and delete the blog posts?

(3) And if I do that, will I mess up inbound links or seo?

Thanks for the help, and tolerating me!
