You should be able to remove the links from images with following code - add it to js/avia.js after the document.ready code line at the very top of the file:

jQuery('.single-portfolio .slideshow a').find('img').unwrap();

Let me break it down...

It seems that the Featured Media settings determine both the options for the thumbnail, and also for the portfolio single page
http://therealmofpossibility.org/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Screen-shot-2012-08-14-at-8.07.44-PM.png

On the following page, all of the thumbnails properly link to the post they came from as I selected, "Link to this post" in the Default Options for the photo. (if I don't then the thumbnail will not link to the post). The problem is that when I mouse over the image in the portfolio-single, I get a magnifying glass and it links to the picture. I don't want that. But if I choose "No link" in the default options, it takes away the link from the thumbnail to the portfolio-single page. See below:

http://therealmofpossibility.org/profiles/brucewalker-hivaids/

How do remove the link to the picture in portfolio-single page, without removing the link from the thumbnail to the portfolio-single page?

Hi,

Sorry if I'm a bit confused about your inquiry.

You want to your thumbnails to open lightbox when clicked on the portfolio overview, is that correct? There is an option in Apply link to the image? to open in lightbox when clicked. You have to choose "Show on a single page" for this to work. They will be able to go to the single portfolio view by clicking the portfolio title.

Regards,
Ismael

Is there any way for me to maintain the link to the single portfolio in the sortable thumbnail list, while removing any links associated with the picture on the single portfolio page?

Is there a way to just remove the link to view the portfolio in the lightbox, without losing the link from the thumbnail to the single portfolio?

Thanks!

Never mind. I found the solution. I just needed to change the "Featured Media" Options from No Link. So now that people are able to click on the portfolio icon, now they get a link to a picture box when they hover over the picture on the single portfolio page.

Is there any way for me to maintain the link to the single portfolio in the sortable thumbnail list, while removing any links associated with the picture on the single portfolio page?

Is there a way to just remove the link to view the portfolio in the lightbox, without losing the link from the thumbnail to the single portfolio?

Thanks!

Hello,

I have been having a challenge getting the thumbnail to serve as a link to the single portfolio. When I have my Portfolio Single Entries set to 'Show on Current Page' the thumbnail is clickable. When I change it to 'Show on Single Page', it looses its hyperlink. How do I make it so that it has a hyper link in both situations. I have removed the title above the thumbnail and require the thumbnail to be clickable.

Here is the example:

http://therealmofpossibility.org/partners/harvardglobalhealthinstitute/

Thanks!
