I used BackUp Buddy to move the site ( which didn't carry the images over properly) so I re-uploaded them, re-uploaded the amended functions.phph (just in case this helped) and regenerated the thumbnails with the plug in. The quality is still no ok. Try re-installing wordpress and if that doesn't get the site back up delete the other theme files (including this one) from your wp-content&gt;themes folder so that wordpress loads up the default one again.
