Hey,
maybe there's another solution but I couldn't find it :) - it's actually more a youtube related problem.

Thanks for your response! So, like I said I'm a noob at all this, but aside from moving the titles down I can't force the container size to remain what it's supposed to be?

Hey,
it seems like youtube dropped support for some parameters which allowed to define the size of embedded players.

You can push down the porfolio entry headline a bit by adding following code to style.css:

.portfolio_content{
margin-top:10px;
}

I hope this isn't a duplicate, but I wasn't able to find anything that would help. I recently posted a YouTube portfolio item. This video was not shot in 16:9 so now on the portfolio page it is larger than the specified container size (256 x 170). I wanted to see if there was any way to force that back to the specified size. The portfolio page I'm referencing is http://outsmartingfish.com/fly-tying-tutorial/

I've gone through the various scripts and used Firebug to help narrow down where I might fix this but had no luck. I've been teaching myself css and all that stuff on my own - pretty much by trial and error - so any help would be greatly appreciated.
