It just pulls the first image in the gallery and uses it as a static image link.</p> <p>You could modify the widget itself, but as I said, it isn't something we could guide you through. I found a messy workaround as of now, I am using the wordpress gallery shortcode and using css to hide the additional entrys, displaying only the thumbnail. Is there anything that can be done to expedite this? I have been able to accomplish that by using the widget, however I would like the user to be able to click the image and view each slide that is linked to that particular portfolio.
