Hi thedavidshow714,

The theme doesn't really support that kind of layout without more than just css modification. You'll need to actually modify the woo-commerce integration in the config-woocommerce>config.php file (in the theme files).

Adjusting the image size isn't enough to have the content below it just wrap up and next to it. You would be better off and have a better overall result if you just put your product images on a canvas that is 930px wide and a fixed height. Then set that height for the featured image size in the functions.php.

Another option would be using the smaller image layout like this one: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/propulsion/shop/test-product-with-small-image/ (which is done by setting the slideshow to Adjustable slider)

Otherwise, with forcing the image size as has been done so far you'll lose the themes ability to be responsive for mobile and tablet browsers.

If you want to change the whole layout of the single product page properly, you'll need to look into having the customization done by a freelance web developer so that it keeps the theme features intact and doesn't cause additional issues. It should take 2-3 hours depending on the developers comfortablity with woocommerce hooks and filters.

Regards,

Devin

Here is the link to the product page that I am talking about.
http://thesneakerbeast.com/?product=motorboat
I want to be able to move the price, size selector and product description to the right side of the picture.
Thank you.

nevermind, i changed line 40 of the functions.php just like in the other posts.

i was able to change the adjustable slider image to be the size that i desired.

now the issue is that the size selection bar and everything else below the image is the same width as the image.

is there a way that i can move everything else (product size sector, product description) to the right side of the image?

that would make everything much cleaner, thanks.

thanks for your reply.
that worked.

how do i do the same (change image size) for the adjustable slider, instead of the full width slider?

i've tried playing around with the function.php (from reading all other previous posts about this topic) and nothing has helped.
even after i regenerated my thumbnails.

i would like specific instructions on what i need to do to get my images up there properly, in 650x488, without distortion and without having my images cropped.

thank you.

Hi,

You are using the full width slider, right? The full width slider automatically stretches the images to 930px. Suggested image size for full width slider is 930x340px.

You can also visit functions.php and find this code which is responsible for the thumbnail cropping

$avia_config['imgSize']['fullsize'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>930, 'crop'=>false); // big images for lightbox and portfolio single entries
$avia_config['imgSize']['featured'] = array('width'=>930, 'height'=>340); // images for fullsize pages and fullsize slider

This seems to be a common issue but there is no clear solution to fix this problem.
I am trying to change the single product image size on my product page.
I am using a full width slider for my product pages.
My image size is 650 x 488.
My woocommerce settings>catalog>image options are set at 650 x 488 for single product image with hard crop checked.

When I upload my 650x488 image into the product image slider with full width selected, the final image shows up at 930x486 with stretched distortion. And the tops and bottom of my image are cropped.

It seems like the 650x488 version of the image I am uploading is being stretched up to 930x??? and being restricted within a 930x486 window, which is causing the top and bottom to crop.

What can I do to fix the issue?
