Hello Sascha,

Just let us know. Most likely you can just do an absolute positioned div and then space it however you want.

See some examples here: http://www.w3schools.com/cssref/pr_class_position.asp

Regards,

Hi Devin,
thanks a lot for your answer. Since the client is already using the website I can't send a link, but I will try to paste the code here soon...
Thanks a lot,
best,
Sascha

Hi formfusion,

If we can take a look at what you have now we can try and provide the needed css for option 2.

Regards,

Hi,

I recently tried to add a q-translate language switcher to the header of the site I am currently creating.
In my last thread ( http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/language-widget-in-abundance-main-menu-area?replies=1#post-55137 ) I wanted to create a new widget area, but found out it's easier to just paste a code directly into the header.php (thanks peter for advice):

---

<?php echo qtrans_generateLanguageSelectCode('both'); ?>

If you set $type = ‘image’, flags will be used, $type = ‘both’ will show flags and language, $type=’dropdown’ will generated a dropdown list instead, default is ‘text’

---
I made the switcher show in the header but on the left side, under the logo.
My question:

1) is there a way to get the language switcher positioned in the main-menu or sub-menu area (now without a widget area), and if yes where should I put the code?

2) if not, what code should I post into css to get the language switcher positioned in the header on the right side between the social icons and search form or under the search form or instead of the search form?

I would be happy if someone could help me out on this one...
thanks a lot,
best,

Sascha
