If you want to remove the slider border (called fancyborder) just open up style1/2/3.css (I'll use style1.css for the example) and replace:

.fancyborder{
background: transparent url('../images/skin1/fancy_border.png') repeat 0 0;
}

with.

.fancyborder{
background: none;
}

Add following to style2.css - this should remove the border for all images:

a img, a:hover img, .entry img, #top .wp-caption{
border: none !important;
background: none !important;
}

How do I GLOBALLY change this so that no image has the border on the featured image?

Thanks!

I gotcha. That could be useful as there are only a handful of images and pages that require that. Thanks so much! Excellent support!

As far as I know that isn't easily possible. The featured images are in a div container called "entry-content" - so your only possibility to differentiate between the pages/featured images is to use the post id like:

.postid-11 entry-content img{
border:none;
background:none;
}

This will remove the background for post id 11

Not sure I follow. What determines which image is .featured1 [ ] ?? I have featured images specified on probably a dozen pages of the site, which has 66 pages and will eventually have many, many posts. So how would I determine which image is which and on which page?

The best way to do this is target individual images in the CSS file like this:

.featured1 { }

That will target the first image, unfortunately you'll have to update the CSS when you change the images.

I figured out how to remove the black border and 4 pixel padding on individual images that's added when they're inserted in posts and pages (add: border: 0pt none; padding: 0px; to the style field in the "advanced settings" on the image).

However, I'd like to be able to remove the border and paddin on an image by image basis on "featured images." Is there a way to do this on an individual image/page/post basis without globally changing the css? I want it on the majority of featured images, but occasionally I like to add an image that appears to float on the page with no borders.

Thanks in advance.
