I've found an unusual solution. Instead of trying to hide the page from the structure (which looked complicated), I've simply redirected the page :) This plugin did the trick.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/quick-pagepost-redirect-plugin/

Best,

Hi,

Is there an easy way to hide a parent page that contains no content from the top breadcrumb trail.

Best,
Paul
