Hi Bryon,

There is not any kind of category identifier in the page that would allow a css fix for that (as far as I know). You'll need to write some kind of an if then statement in the single post template to remove the date from being displayed if the page is one of your chosen categories.

Regards,

Hey Devin -

We have managed to remove it there, yes. But when you go into the posts themselves the date marker remains:

http://www.polarimagazine.com/classicfilmtv/death-nile

Cheers -

Hey hysteric,

It looks like you might have gotten this figured out. Looking at http://www.polarimagazine.com/category/classicfilmtv , I don't see the date any longer but I do see it on some of the other categories.

Let us know if you still need any help :)

Regards,

This is what we put into the custom CS and it didn't work. Any suggestions?:

body.category-classicmusic .date-container {
display:none;
}
body.category-classicfilmtv .date-container {
display:none;
}
body.category-classicbooks .date-container {
display:none;
}

Hi hysteric,

What I would do is add the CSS below to your custom.css or Quick CSS.

body.category-interesting .date-container { display:none; }

Now you would replace interesting with your category slug-name or ID.

Regards,

Is there a way to remove the date stamp for specific categories?

We don't want to remove the published date from all posts, just ones from one category.
