Ah, understood... case closed then, seems there's nothing left I can do to speed up the site any. Many thanks to this forum!

The query strings are (afaik) important for the browser cache - a different version number also changes the query string and the browser will reload the file (thus replace the "old" cached js/css with the new version.

Nevermind, the Feed appears to be working correctly. I failed to realize in OS X Mountain Lion Apple has removed the feed reader from Safari, and Google Chome displays the raw RSS (XML format). Once subscribed to Google Reader it appears fine. Looks like firefox is capable of transforming it into readable text as well.

I suppose the issue remaining are those query strings...

So I've been searching through the treads here, and haven't found a solution just yet. My RSS Feed "http://allurexpressions.com/feed/".... well, if you load it you'll see my issue. Is it supposed to load this way? "This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below." I suppose that's an issue in itself right? And what of everything else, is this a functional RSS Feed? I'm looking into the issue of permalinks that I've seen mentioned here, but I'm not sure there's a problem with them to begin with, I've had no other issues. I also see W3 Total Cache mentioned at the bottom of the feed... a conflict perhaps?

Any assistance would be appreciated... I've been doing a significant overhaul on the site these last few days, just ironing out a few bugs here and there I can find. While we're at it, does anyone know how I'd go about removing the query strings and encoding the parameters into the URL for the following resources:

http://allurexpressions.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-minify/cache/1923cbd988cdb678e6fb5a91453b3103.css?m=1355378190
http://allurexpressions.com/wp-content/themes/avisio/js/custom.js?ver=3.5
http://allurexpressions.com/wp-content/themes/avisio/js/prettyPhoto/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js?ver=3.5

That's a more minor issue than the RSS feed right now... thanks again!
