Hey,
depending on your theme you can remove the rss link in sidebar.php or footer.php (Coalition uses sidebar.php). Open up the file and delete following line:

echo "
<a href='".avia_get_option('feedburner',get_bloginfo('rss2_url'))."'>RSS
";

Hey,
rss uses xml to broadcast the data. You need a rss reader software like: google reader, Chrome rss extension or you can use Firefox which offers a simple rss module/reader out of the box.

2) Yes that's possible. WordPress applies a class to each post/page body tag which contains the id of this post/page. On archive pages it lists the category(ies). The class for posts looks like: postid-282, for pages it looks like: page-id-37 (the number is the id)

Sidenote as well: is it possible to override the shortcode stylings within individual pages?

Thanks

My RSS link in the footer (when clicked) brings up a bunch of unstyled XML code. To be honest, i'm not a very big RSS feed user, so i'm not entirely sure how it's expected to work or if i need to add a RSS pluggin to get it to work.

Thanks for your time.
