In minimal-skin.css in your css folder change the background value for .boxed #wrap_all

.boxed #wrap_all {
background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.8);
}

The latest value controls the transparency of the background container. this will work in all modern browsers. If you want to make it work in older browsers as well you would need to replace that with a semi-transparent png image

(if you are using another skin other than the default use the appropriate css file instead)

Hi, in the content area (boxed layout) I'd like to be able to make the background color a tad transparent. I'm using a large background image and would love to be able to see a weak percentage of it thru the background color.

Would that be possible with CSS?
