You may be viewing some cached versions of the pages then. I just tested it on my live install and changing the shop page to 'The Shop' for testing changed it everywhere that is referenced.

Regards,

Hi,

I renamed "Shop", meaning: there is no more page titled Shop in my setup, but it still shows up as "Shop" on category pages and all others except of the start page, thats weired...

Hey sirchunk,

No, not without creating separate pages that show different products using shortcodes. Think of the main "Shop" page as the overall container that WooCommerce uses to base the entire store system on. It doesn't really have support for multiple different main containers.

Regards,

Thanks guys but is there a way to make it different for certain pages rather than a blanket term?

Hope that makes sense.

Hi,

@Scott: Thanks for helping out.

@sirchunk: Scott is correct, you can simply change the title of the page itself. Make sure you assign that page on Woocommerce > Settings > Pages > Shop Base Page.

Regards,

Hey sirchunk,

You can change the name of that simply by changing the name of the page. Go to Pages > All Pages on the left side of your WP Admin and find the Shop page and change it to whatever you want. Be sure to also change (if you want) the Permalink.

Hope that helps,

Hi,

Is there an easy way to change the "Shop" title that appears on practically all the pages?
http://screencast.com/t/jBbj2o9cM9

It would be nice to change it so a sales message can be used instead or even the name of the category or product instead.

Thanks in advance
