Thanx for your reply. My idea was to use the portfolio as a showcase for products and categorize it with the menu. I like the way the portfolio displays the posts with the thumb and read more button. Do you have any suggestions as to how I could get this done with this theme?

as far as I can see it's not easily possible to implement a sidebar because you'd need to adjust the html structure of the template and some css modifications will be required too. It's a time intensive task.
