I figured it out. It is the overflow:hidden rule given to the sidebar and widget. Am I hurting any other functionality to add custom css as follows:

.sidebar {overflow:visible;}
.widget {overflow:visible;}

As always, thanks for great support!

Hi,
Thanks for your great support, by the way, and daily responses. Much appreciated.

I am trying to add a vertical menu in the sidebar of Corona, and an attempt to add a jQuery and then a CSS-only horizontal slide-out submenu did not work, but they do work in the theme when I put the code into a page. I took all efforts to make sure jQuery files did not overlap each other with the theme's. And with the CSS-only menu, there are no javascripts to conflict with. The best I can guess is the theme has some styling to the sidebar that does not allow the slide-out to appear. Could it be a z-index issue? Any other thoughts? If needed, I can privately send info for your view.
Thanks. in advance.
