Hi sdslaw,

This is your logo correct?

http://www.sdsfamilylaw.com/wp-content/uploads/law-offices-of-scott-david-stewart-logo-11.png

If so, I see it. So at least that part is resolved. I noticed you don't have the ALT tag working still though so let's see if this works for you.

In framework/php/function-set-avia-frontend.php, find this line:

$logo = "<img src=".$logo." alt='' />";

Now assuming you want the same ALT info on each page, I would just do this:

$logo = "<img src=".$logo." alt='My alternative text goes here.' />";

Of course doing it this way means when the theme is updated you may need to re-add the ALT text.

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Mya

Okay. It keeps getting worse. I don't understand how this could be possible, but I went back to http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/logo-has-no-alt-tag#post-64002

and reversed what I did. In other words, I put the old code back.

Now-- for some reason-- I can't get the logo to appear. I just reversed what I did. I don't get it.

I really have to get the logo up, with an alt tag, soon. My boss could login anytime.

I'm pretty desperate here. I followed the instructions on this post:

http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/logo-has-no-alt-tag#post-64002

Now, my page has no logo at all. The logo has been replaced by my site name. Which is not even what I want for the ALT tag, but I'd take it... The site name would be better than nothing. But I still need a logo.

If you go to sdsfamilylaw .com you may see the name of the site across the top, or if I don't get a response to this thread soon, I'll just change the code back. But that brings me right back to square one.

Why can't I have a logo with an alt tag? This does not make me look very good with my employer, who asked me that very question today.
