Normally it should load automatically but in your case wrdpress doesn't load it. Reset the database, reinstalled the theme and still I am not able use the Optional URL functionality. Selecting any of the options from the drop down (link to page, link to post, link manually) does not make another drop down or text entry field appear as it should. I have the sample entries loaded and I am unable to change the "link to manually" that is set up on the last sample image (currently links to <a href="http://www.kriesi.at)" rel="nofollow">http://www.kriesi.at)</a>. If I try and change the link and publish, it reverts right back to what it was.</p> <p>I have deactivated all plugins added and reinstalled the unmodified theme - all with no effect. Next step is to reinstall Wordpress. </p> <p>Anyone have any idea of what would be causing this? </p> <p>My only lead right now is a permissions with the Theme files. We have a pretty locked down development environment. Currently I can modify the files via FTP, but I get the "You need to make this file writable before you can save your changes." message in the Wordpress editor. I am able to make all other changes to the theme setting as well as add and edit posts. </p>
