Hey,

I think this might be what you're searching for, however, I have no idea at all if this works(no reviews etc).

To sort your posts I believe a combination of this and this can help you.

Hi there,

My client is a travel agency and I would like to use the portfolio as a gallery to showcase upcoming trips. I'm wondering if it is possible to create portfolio items that will "Publish" when I enter a future date ie Jan 1st, 2012 rather than just "Schedule" them for that date. That way trips could show up in chronological order for when they occur.

Alternatively is there a way to add a new field somewhere that users can sort by upcoming dates?

Also, if none of the above can be easily fixed, is there a way to have non-searchable 1 column portfolio pages have entries appear in reverse alphabetical order rather than by date. This way I could title a post something like "2011-09-25 Fall Colour Tour" and have it appear before "2012-01-01 New Years Eve". If this is possible, can I remove the line that show's the date under the post image?

I know this is probably quite complicated. Thanks for your time in advance.

Regards,

Matt
