Hey,
excuse me for the late response. To do this you can copy template-blog.php and name it template-whateveryouwant.php.
Then find:

$more = 0;
get_template_part( 'includes/loop', 'index' );

and remove it.

After what you've just removed you'll see " ?> ". Right after this place

<?php if ( !function_exists('dynamic_sidebar') ||
 !dynamic_sidebar('Name Of Widget') ) : ?>
<?php endif; ?>

Now go to your functions.php file and add the following to the bottom of the file
register_sidebar(array('name'=>'Name Of Widget',));

Now you can drag your text widget in "Name Of Widget" in your Widgets menu. I hope this helped.

Hi,

I am using the Template Builder for my homepage, (www.jollo.co). I am trying to add a Text Area underneath the main blog slider but it adds it to the sidebar rather than in the main content. Can you tell me how to make it appear in the right place?

Also, I don't want any blog posts to appear underneath it. I have selected '0' Blog Layout - Full sized entries without preview picture etc yet they still appear there. Can you help with that too please?

Thanks!
