Hi steve4640,

The sites basic css styles shouldn't be overlapping the visual editors style changes unless they have been changed in some way with an !important value or something like that.

The only way I can think of that there may be a bit of overlap is when doing layouts with shortcodes and columns with some headers and such since they get very specific styling outside of the ones done with the basic css options from the theme's Styling tab.

If you can point us to an example live, we can inspect it and see whats happening.

Regards,

Devin

Hi:

We noticed that some, but not all our text, does not recognize color changes. For example, even though we change a color to green, it stays black. Here is the HTML for one such instance for h4, but it also sometimes does the same for paragraph text, too.

<span style="color: #808000;">Join us for the 126th FSHS Annual Meeting in June 2013!</span>

It seems to occur when we try to set text to both bold and a color.

Any ideas on how to solve this are greatly appreciated!
