In this case you're using the plugin which is bundled with the theme (it's located in the wp-content/themes/incarnation/config-events-calendar/ folder). You can install the events calendar plugin from the wordpress.org repository: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/ or you can translate the "bundled" version of the plugin - you can find the language files in the wp-content/themes/incarnation/config-events-calendar/the-events-calendar/lang folder.

I checked the folder and I don't have the even calendar folder, but the plugin is working and I'm using it.

1) You must use the french wordpress version: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_in_Your_Language#French_-_Fran.C3.A7ais_.28fr_FR.29 (and make sure that the right language is defined in wp-config.php).

2) Maybe you need to update/translate the tribe-events-calendar-fr_FR.po file located in the wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang folder. You can use tools like http://www.poedit.net/download.php for this task.

Hi,
afaik you can translate the plugin with with po/mo files - the default files can be found in the wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/lang/ folder. You can translate tribe-events-calendar-de_DE.po with Poedit: http://www.poedit.net/download.php
I noticed that the default tribe-events-calendar-de_DE,po is a bit outdated. You can update it by using the POT catalog file. I've done this for you - you can download the "latest version" of the file here: http://www.mediafire.com/?pp21zciyznqmwhh
You might want to contribute your translation to the devs ( http://tri.be ) - other users will profit from it too.

Hi @ all :)

I have a question about the language of the built-in events calendar in Incarnation:

How is it possible to change the language of this plugin?

Current WP-Version: 3.4.2 DE (German)

I took a quick look into the the-events-calendar.class.php of located in wp-content/themes/incarnation/config-events-calendar and realized that the plugin "gets" it's language from the bloginfo.

Is it also possible to completely switch the whole theme into German?

Cheers :D
