Hey,
it depends on your widget settings - not all combinations are possible (i.e. if a post is assigned to two categories only the widgets of one category will be displayed). Widget Logic helps you to create widget areas category specific without that drawback. You can download the plugin here: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic/

Just create all widgets in the display everywhere widget area and use the widget logic field to specify which widgets should display on some pages/post/categories, etc. only. Type in the category, page or post id and the widget should appear then.

I tried looking this up on your forum, but all of the posts related to this end up with private messages. One had the Widget Logic mentioned, but no actual steps described.
Here's my problem in a nutshell.
I added the custom sidebars that for categories in Sidebar & Footer.
Added the Advertising widgets to the newly created sidebars and in some categories the widgets show up, in some they don't. I tried removing sidebars and adding again. Tried removing categories and adding again. Tried different widgets.
Nothing helps.
Please help me.
I will send you the login details upon request.
Thank you
