I had a look at the thread but when I manually add the rel attribute it still doesn't seem to work.

For example I have this:

It still opens the image in the same page instead of lightbox.

Weird thing is that I used the plugin you mentioned and now it works even though in the source there is no rel="lightbox".

The source just shows:

Why would it work without the rel element with a plugin and not without a plugin is a beyond me. But it works that's all I needed.

1) Have a look at this thread: http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/problem-with-prettyphoto-no-automatic-rellightbox

2) The popup windows is generated automatically by prettyphoto. So the with and height attributes are generated on the fly to fit perfect. You can't change this easily.

I have a lot of tutorial posts that have thumbnails inside them so people have the chnage to look at the image in more detail. I am not talking about the thumbnail that is for the post in general. However prettyPhoto doesn't seem to want to open them.

Am I doing something wrong?

How can I to get them to open in lightbox?

My second question is how can I make the popup that appears when one clicks the submit news button a bit wider? I looked at the style.css line 1380 #newswrapper which strangely enough is set to 365px while the popup itself is closer to 465:-).
