If I remember correctly, you have to actually set the home page title in yoast SEO. I don't know if its on the home page (page) or in the plugin set up but when you change that bit in the header.php, wordpress doesn't know what to do for a page title so it has to rely on Yoast. My last question in the related post is down as not a support question so I figure i need to start afresh. I was getting duplcate title tags until I followed the advice from another post and deleted: <title><?php bloginfo('name'); ?> | <?php is_home() ? bloginfo('description') : wp_title(''); ?></title> replace with <title><?php wp_title(''); ?></title> A new issue has arisen now. It is all fine EXCEPT the home pages (English and Indonesian). IF you look the titles are not working and they are certainly not what I wrote in the SEO dashboard. <a href="http://www.indonesiadetective.com" rel="nofollow">http://www.indonesiadetective.com</a> Any advice?
