Just a note that sometimes, despite "descriptions" being checked in the screen options, they don't show up. I find that if I turn off, then back on, they come back.

Hey,
it seems like CleanCut doesn't support it but Kriesi released a tutorial here: http://www.kriesi.at/archives/improve-your-wordpress-navigation-menu-output#more-1059 - it shows you how to implement this feature in other WP themes.

@Dude:
Does the theme CleanCut support this function?

I have Description field OK. I added information to it and saved the menu, but somehow those changes don't display in the actual site.
(In other words, I can only see the Navigation Label listed on the top of the page)

What am I missing? :(

As usual, thanks for your advice!
P.

These two screenshots show you how to activate the description text:

Go to your admin panel > Appearance > menus

Here you can create your own menu. Every menu item has a small arrow which points down on the right side (see second screenshot.). Click on it. If you see a field "Description" there everything is ok - fill in your description for this menu item and save your menu afterwards. If you can't see a field called description you need to click on "screen options" and activate the description field afterwards (first screenshot).

Hello,
I have two menus on my page using Newscast. Unfortunatelly, I am not able to change the description (smaller) text in the Top Navigation Menu.

At the moment, each top navigation menu item has an extremely long description which is somehow the content of the page the menu item is linked to. Here is the problem: http://napraforgomag.hu/kapcsolat/

Would you advise me, where can I change the description text of these menu items?

THANKS!!!
