Hi thericeking,

If you want to have a semi-transparent background, just add this in your Quick CSS or custom.css:

.post_excerpt {
 background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.4);
}

or

.post_excerpt {
 background: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.4) !important;
}

Just adjust the rgba values. The last value sets the opacity, the highest value is 1 (no transparency) and lowest value is 0(fully transparent).

Regards,
Ismael

Thank you for such a great theme. I am a noob to editing WordPress themes, in fact this the first theme I ever purchased.

I like the featured slider but I would like to replace the solid color block in front of the picture with some transparency.

Could someone please point me to the right direction.

I know I will probably be given a code.

I would like to also know where do I apply the code.

Thank you so much for your time.
