Hi linkis,

Kindly backup your database first, you can use this as a reference: http://codex.wordpress.org/Backing_Up_Your_Database
Next, backup the theme files.

You shouldn't worry much about the content as it is stored inside the database and won't be changed during an update, however, just for precaution we need to backup first. As for the theme files you must back this up especially if you have done some customizations like in custom.css or functions.php as this will be lost.

Updating theme can be done by simply switching your theme to other themes like twentyeleven, then replace the old angular theme with the new theme you have downloaded from themeforest, switch the theme again to angular. Finally, add the customizations that you have made.

Hope this helps :)

Regards,
Ismael

Hello, I'm new. I want to update my theme "Angular" of 1.1.1 to 1.5, but I do not know how and especially not to lose the content already present ?
