Hi catnip_uk,

Actually, you can manually what part of the image you want to crop, you can check this video tutorial on how to use the crop feature of wordpress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x88-v0NBzNY

Hope this helps. :)

Regards,
Ismael

Hi Ismael

Ok I understand, but as Wordpress crops images to 'center center' is there any way it can be changed to crop 'top center' rather than me cropping images?, reason is becuase I don't want the thumbnails to be cropped and look different sizes just so the first image is cropped to look better as a background image.

Thanks....

Hi,

Wordpress crop images base on dimensions. You need to manually crop the images first before uploading them. Suggested images size for the full width slider is 1500x937px to avoid cropping.

Regards,

Hi

How can I make a image background position of the avia fullscreen slider to 'top' instead of viewing as center, the images I am using are of a portrait nature of a person and need their head to be visible, so needs to be positioned at the top of the browser.

Thanks!
