			<description>&#60;p&#62;I was able to remove the white rectangle behind the images but then using a .png with transparent and shadows, its render really bad when browsing with IE 7 or below.

you can change the slider styling however it will effect all imges not only the transparent png. It's not possible to change the style on a per image basis.
