&#60;p&#62;The only way I know of to do that is to change out the thumbnail that gets automatically generated with one you create yourself on your computer. You then FTP to your wordpress installation and go to your uploads folder (where exactly depends on your set up) and replace the image with your new one using the exact same image name and extension.&#60;/p&#62;

I noticed that it automatically takes the first portfolio image and crops it to a thumbnail, but I would like to use an image that is cropped a certain way.&#60;/p&#62;
