You can try to hide the menu with css. The body tag offers some classes which give you the page/post id if the current entry. Use following code to hide the sop menu:

#shop_header .container{
display: none;
}

and following code to show it on certain pages/posts:

.page-id-31 #shop_header .container, .postid-282 #shop_header .container{
display: block;
}

I do actually.

Would this same reference apply if I only wanted to show the WooCommerce shop bar (top of the site) on specific pages as opposed to the whole website as it defaults to now?

If not, how / where would I accomplish that?

Vinny, could you post how you were able to replace the icons sitewide? I'm trying to do that and don't know where those elements are. Thanks!

Hi!

You could use conditionals - see http://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags and http://wcdocs.woothemes.com/codex/extending/woocommerce-conditionals/ in this case.

Best regards,
Peter

I would like to use the area where the search bar / social icons are currently (right hand side below navigation) to display different elements for different pages / sections of the website.

For example, I'd like to replace the social icons with a call to action button. I have figured out how to do this, but only sitewide. I'd like to use a different call to action on different pages / sections - like on the /shop/ section.

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
