It seems that you run a clean installation of WordPress with Brightbox. Page generation time should be between 0,6 to 1,3 seconds. In your case the server needs around 8 seconds to response. I'm not sure if it's the server hardware or a hoster software problem however because of the long response time you won't get fast loading times.
