Woops! You put that code in the wrong place. Please put it before the *closing* of the </head> tag, and now it's before the opening. But if it somehow makes things function perhaps leaving it alone is also a good idea, though yo can try to move it so it looks like the code below relative to the </head> tag. You can always change it back: <pre><code> </head></code></pre> But I wouldn't worry about compatibility view since its not an accurate representation of a browser, but rather a representation of someone Running IE9 in compatibility view which theoretically will let them see 7 year old websites too cheap to upgrade. IE7 is used by less than 1% of users , and that compatibility view is probably used only be developers and legacy intranets in underdeveloped countries. However, I noticed that when I work with Wordpress in compatability view, I have other issues withing Wordpress. I cleared the cache and it still is the same. I'm using Quick Cache, maybe there's something better out there? I also through IE deleted all the temp files and cookies. I thought maybe I should take out some of the earlier code. Specifically, the one after line 46 above where it made it shorter. I took it out and it is a little wider, but still not correct. Now it's a little shorter in the width. I'm not sure if that's becasue of the Quick CSS being removed? I compared it to the link of the first pictures I sent, and width is now almost to the center of the drop down "arrow". The right side where the arrow selector for the drop down choice is cit0off a little. After you select yur choice is does then show the full width, It's not a real big deal, but if there is soemthing I can do to fix this, that would be wonderful.
