I was advised by Devin to update the theme, and thank you for the advice Devin. This was in a previous topic if you want to see it
http://www.kriesi.at/support/topic/images-on-single-product-pages-not-rescaling-with-browser-window

I searched in the forum for info on theme updates and found some previous advice saying that it's best to see which files and folders have been updated since the vesion currently installed, and then just to replace those. This is all straightforward.

My worry is with renewing the folder: config-woocommerce
There's a lot of work gone into the shop. I'm just checking with you over any risks in replacing this whole folder

I am upgrading from V 1.3.1 - everything changed in V 1.3.2 was updated again in V 1.4 and folder: config-woocommerce: 1.5 replaces the folder: config-bbrepss to work with bbpress v 2.1 - again this is no worry because I have not got round to styling or populating the forum yet.

I'm hoping that you can put my mind at ease over this

regards
Tim

by the way : I had a little look at /config-woocommerce/config.php and see that the image size there is 450 x 355. I have been working on 450 x 335 because that is the size for Propulsion's portfolio pictures (which is the same proportion as 290 x 216 for the product adjustable slideshow - very handy). If I meet any problem I'll change the proportion in config-woocommerce/config.php
