If you have troubles since the update to WordPress 4.5 please read this post before opening a new thread.
I installed the Google Page Speed API today to check the average page loading time. Only the CSS sprites are displayed as a priority item. Nearly all of the items Google recommends to improve are brightbox icons. Is there an easy way to switch the system to a combined CSS sprite? E.g. one for the shortcode icons and one for the skin icons like rss-, twitter- and search-icons?
Yes it is possible to put all the images in a sprite, this will indeed reduce your load time by less than half a second. You can read (Purchase code hidden if logged out) -awesomeness-filled-navigation-menu/” class=”bbcode_url”>this about sprites. This is a time intensive task and not within the scope of the support team.
