Hi, How do I set the 404.php to show up when the page is not found? On my broadscope theme, it just happened automatically, but not on the newscast theme :(
What can I do?

Hey,
you need to adjust your server setting (htacess file). More information can be found here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Creating_an_Error_404_Page#Help_Your_Server_Find_the_404_Page and here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#Editing_Rewrite_Rules_.28.htaccess.29
thanks Dude, I am on a windows server 2008. :(
Isn't WP supposed to automatically detect the presence of a 404.php file?
It did on my Broadscope theme!
Yes - normally WP should take care of 404 - but obviously your server shows its error page instead which indicates that WP has not control over 404. Newscast itself offers a 404 template which works for me on my apache test server.
