I have only seen this in relation to the images in the layout folder. Some of the shadow png are not showing and the browser shows a broken image icon. On the server images are present and folder/files have the correct permissions. However linking to them throws a 404 in the browser. I have deleted and inserted the images without success. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!
Can you reproduce the issue with the demo page here: http://www.kriesi.at/themes/choices/ ?

No. You can see the issue here. http://www.bodymed.ca/new/
I had also tried copying the image from the demo site in to the folder without any success.Posted 10 months ago # -
Hello,
Try to download the theme again and install it.

The client is already reviewing the site so not sure if this is a viable option. Any other solutions? Or can I install the theme again while keeping all the settings?

Deleted the theme and installed it again with the same result.

Hi pixelsaw,
Check the permissions on the images that aren't able to be displayed. Try setting them to 755 and see if that allows you to view them without issue.
If for some reason the images are just not getting uploaded into the folders, try putting them there via FTP manually.

Tried using 755 with no success. The images are there i have checked with ftp. Deleted the image and uploaded again with no success. The png that are not showing display a request of type "text/html"?

I'm not sure what could be happening then. You might try re-naming/re-saving the file and putting it up onto your server to see if it then can be loaded in by itself.
If you could also check with your host to see if they can detect anything abnormal about the image file and give some insight as to why it is causing a 404 when you can see the file on your server.
