Is there any way to control the sidebar and content of this page?

    Hi jeanstorms,

You can edit the content of the 404 page here:

    wp-contentthemespropulsionincludeserror404.php

The sidebar of the 404 depends on what is set on Propulsion > Theme Options > Layout & Settings > Default Page Layout.

    Hope this helps. :)

Thanks – that helped some. I wanted to customize the left hand navigation menu – right now it displays all of the page links, the post categories and archives. How do I manage this area? I did not see a way to add a widget and when I add something to the default page widget it also shows up on all of the other pages.

How do I assign a menu to the error page.

Thanks for pointing me to the right file to edit. I must have missed that when I was searching. I only saw the template file.

    Hi jeanstorms,

The theme doesn’t have a way to control only that sidebar. You can probably find a plugin that will give you control over something like that or you could edit the file directly in the theme files.

Even something like http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/widget-logic-visual/ might work if you add the widgets you want into the display everywhere sidebar then limit them to only show on the 404 page.

    Regards,

    Devin
