I'm not really getting a slow load on my end. Performance is one of those topics that is so huge we really can't begin to cover it.
The best things you can do to start with are always look into a caching plugin, reduce image sizes and remove any un-needed plugins.
You are working with a database to load all of your files as well so server quality can play a large hand in everything too. Add in individual computer performance and internet speed and it gets infinitely complicated :)
